Residence Round Up10 June 2021 (by charlottedowson) |
The children had a very busy week in the Residence. Luckily, we had fantastic weather, so we were able to get out for lots of lovely walks and enjoyed some trips out in the minibus.
They included a visit to the Centenary woods at Hutton. We walked through the forest and saw the sheep in the field. We celebrated Mcauley's birthday with a lovely chocolate cake. The older group enjoyed a trip to see the Humber Bridge and had a ride in the bus across it. Some of the children had a fabulous time walking round Peasholme Park where they did a Nature Bingo seeing what they could see and cross off on their Bingo card followed by a lovely walk on the sea front at Scarborough .
Owen had had his Weetabix that morning...... he could lift the Humber Bridge
